- X-Base with water bag combo can be filled with water to hold your feather flags in place even in the windiest of circumstances. When your event is over, simply drain for lighter transport.
- X-bases or cross bases are our most portable, lightweight solution and better suited for indoor use. For added security, our water bags can be filled and placed over the X-base to add an extra measure of protection.
- Ground stakes or ground spikes require very little setup and are very portable, making them a popular choice. Use them to secure your feather flags right into the ground.
X-Base for Feather Flag Pole
Our coated steel X-Base is the best way to display your feather flag, swooper flag, or teardrop flag on any hard surface (parking lot, sidewalk, compacted soil). The X-Base features a dual-sealed bearing center mount that allows the flag and pole to smoothly swivel in the wind. This is key to keeping your flag from wrapping around the pole and keeping your message visible.
(Note: Additional weight, like our H2O bag or heavy water base, may be required in windier conditions and is always suggested with any of our large size flags.)

Water Bag for X-Base
Our fillable H2O bag is a convenient and cost-effective way to add stabilizing weight to our X-Base.
The best way to add stabilizing weight to an X-base mount is our water weight bag for cross base flag mounts. A must for use with large feather flag poles and a great idea for any size flag when the wind picks up. Note: The water bag is pictured installed over the X-base. The X-base is sold separately.
- Fill “donut” bag with water to provide about 23 lb. of weight.
- Large drain hole for easy flat storage and refilling.
- Measures 19″ diameter when flat.
